The goal of this project is to provide XP emulation, the similar way FreeDOS emulate MS-DOS. It makes possible for users to be able easily run legacy XP applications and executables. Unlike ReactOS it’s derived from Linux, mainly based on Q4OS, Wine and XPQ4, please contribute underlying projects and mention FreeXP overthere. Source code is fully public, you are welcome to modify and expand it.
How to install:
– Install Q4OS desktop.
– Download “setup_freexp.esh” package from http://freexp.sourceforge.net
– Run setup doubleclicking saved “setup_freexp.esh” in filemanager.
– Follow instructions.
