FOR WINDOWS USERS WHO WANT TO JUMP TO LINUX EASILY/PAINLESSLY WITH A FAST BOOTING USB FLASH DRIVE.

A simplified “FAMILY TREE”/”Ancestor” perspective: www.grub4usb.com for more.
Introduction (from http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/)

GRANDPA: GRUB is a Multiboot boot loader. It was derived from GRUB, the GRand Unified Bootloader, originally by Erich Stefan Boleyn.

DAD: GRUB4DOS made it easier for Windows/DOS users, but was still unreliable; the boot record was difficult to install for average users.

GRUB4USB was developed to automate the installation of the correct 446 bytes to the boot sector, providing Windows Users with a bootable USB Flash Drive which could contain any flavor of Linux (or other OS).

IDIOT PROOF:

GRUB4USB is “AUTOMATIC AND HANDS FREE”. Simply insert USB Flash Drives, they’re detected, the boot record is installed with a Linux distribution to quickly create functional, bootable USB Flash Drives; aka LIVE USB.
