It is the same official LTS iso, but up to date.
This way you don’t have to download half GB of updates just after the installation, and save zillions of delete/write on your brand new FS/HD!

There are also some changes in the packages:

Removed: Banshee and Tomboy (the only 2 using Mono). See alternatives below.
Installed: GIMP stable 2.8 (Single Window, at last!)

Alternatives to Mono software removed

If you lack Tomboy: install GNote
If you lack Banshee: use Clementine, Rhythmbox, Exaile, Amarok. (Note that you already have VLC, Gnome MPlayer and Movie Player installed).
