Moon lander

**Source code available in ‘files’ area**

Moon lander is a simple Apollo lunar lander simulation, in which you control the thrust for the main engine. Your aim is to bring the lander safely to the Moon’s surface as quickly as possible, while using as little fuel as possible. Your final score is calculated based on these two outcomes.

When you load Moon lander, you will see the default setup – your lander is commencing the final phase of its descent at 3km altitude, with a descent rate of 35m/s. After getting the ‘go for landing’, you can take control of the engine in order to slow the lander to a safe speed. Any landing faster than 2m/s is counted as a crash.

Good luck!
