This is our first release of our own custom desktop environment, Pearl. It is modeled after the Peppermint 5 Linux distribution and it’s core is made up from LXDE and XFCE4.

Pearl Linux Desktop is a complete system with plenty of software to meet any of your computing desires. Mint Software Center is also included for any additional software requirements. Pearl contains two pre-configured logins at logon screen. The default login is Pearl which uses xfwm and the second is Pearl-Compiz one which handles your desktop effects.
Some of the additional features include: the Pearl Control Center with the lxsession default apps to configure your defaults, themes..etc.

The system includes the Opera Web Browser, Chromium Web Browser, Thunderbird, Gimp, Inkscape, Shotwell, SMplayer and SMtube, VLC, Banshee, Audacity, Clementine, Cheese webcan guvcview, WPS Office, Lightdm greeter GUI, Thunar and PcManFM, Dual Monitors, Desktop Weather and Clock plus much more! 32 bit includes virtualbox
