A re-spin of the new ‘UbuntuMATE’ 18.04 LTS distro. Although in ‘alpha’ state, I have tested and found this release to be solid enough to be used as a ‘daily-driver’. Available in 64 and 32-bit versions, with the standard theme on the 32 being a ‘dark’ variation. So, if you are up for it, this may be a good way to introduce friends and relatives to the Linux environment. Built using the Nov 2016 version of “Systemback” as available to download from Sourceforge, showing there is still wind in it yet…
‘user/pw’ = ‘live/live’, and preferred method to create iso is ‘dd’ at terminal, or “gnome-disk-utility” if you prefer the GUI alternative…
