PlayAssure (Previously named MotoPLYR) is a diagnostic/test utility that runs on VIP Set-Top Boxes. It is used to verify the operation of the box in place of the normal customer application (e.g. KreaTV, Microsoft Mediaroom). The
PlayAssure application can either be loaded into the box from the network when a special key combination is pressed on the box or it can be resident on the box (and also launched by a special key combination).
